Catch you on the flip side-
My dad always said that it’s not good bye, it’s just so long. (This really feels like a goodbye though). It’s been a blast of a COM class and I’ve enjoyed this blogging aspect of it. Our nine week term is up and I’ve still got a few terms to go which means I won’t have the time to post for a while. I appreciate the time you’ve given me (if you’ve been keeping up) and I look forward to the day that we share our time again.
From Innovation theory and old school marketing to different types of leaders, managers and total duds. Advertising, overthinking and crisis management have filled my days (and nights). I hope that you have enjoyed our time together as I know that I have.
For now, it is time to take a quick break and bask in the holidays with family and friends. As I encounter new adventures in other COM courses, I will be happy to share thoughts and opinions along the way. As I do so, I’ll be sure to share on social media outlets so that you know to visit.
If you find yourself with an extra 20ish minutes, I’d highly recommend the Ted talk with Simon Sinek, “First why and then trust”. It was my fav Ted talk of the term. When you watch, remember it’s not just about selling a product. We are selling ourselves everyday. Whether it’s for an ad campaign, to our boss or to handle a crisis situation. It’s a good quality to have. It may be the most important one there is.
